And I"m also interested in the term Mexican wave. But yes, they almost always do the wave. I'm not sure if Disney CM's initiate it, or if it's just a thing with crowds these days. It's fun for about 2 passes, then gets really really old!!!

Last time, it went side to side maybe 20 times (nearly everyone participating) but the novelty does wear off after 20 mins of it!

Of course, MGM gets bonus points from me for adding Jafar, Scar (no Jeremy Irons???), Hades, Cruella and Frollo (that seems so random) in their version of the show. Their death medley sounds better than DL's.

There used to be this nerdy guy, (in character) who would get it all started and then get everyone to do a flash wave. Everyone would get their cameras ready and stand up and take a picture as the wave went by. As lame as it kinda sounds now that I am typing it, it was actually quite a sight seeing hundreds of flashes rolling across the stadium right as a dark sky was appearing. The whole thing was probably sponsored by Kodak just to get another frame used of their film. But it sticks out in my mind after a few years.

I've mentioned this before, but I'll ask it again... I'm assuming the clips that they use for the Evil Queen, Chernabog, Maleficent and Ursula are the same. I'm also assuming that it shows Scar falling, Frollo falling, Jafar being sucked into the lamp, Hades being beaten up in the Pit of Souls and Cruella's psycho face. -
