In the case of DL's being outdated, it was because it debuted in '92, while WDW's came out in '98. Because of the gap, Harris, I mean, Eisner (that's gap, not Gap) wanted to add in more "recent" Disney characters, as well as past characters, hence the character bubbles and the Pocahontas battle. You forgot to mention Chernabog. That said, I think DL's show is better, however, WDW's has more Villains. Sigh. DL has Kaa, Monstro, Hook, Evil Queen, Ursula, Chern and Malef. WDW features Monstro, Ratcliffe, Evil Queen, Ursula, Cruella, Scar, Frollo, Jafar, Hades, Chernabog and Maleficent. Btw, Scar's replacement voice is really, really bad. No wonder all he says is "purrrr-fect".
Originally Posted By dshyates I really like both shows. They are different, and I think that IS the reason to see WDWs. It is not like Star Tours that is identicle. I like the use of the 2 real boats in DLR, but I like the montage segment at WDW. Both have their strengths and weaknesses.
