Yup. I can spend more tiem in Universal's parks and have a good time compared to Disney's. 1 and 1/2 days for IOA, 1 and 1/4 for USF, and 1/4 of a day for Blue Man Group.

wait - they had free beer ? now maybe that would hav attracted me. I haven't been to Sea World in years-- as we have aquatic shows here also and I didn;t find the rest of the park very interesting last time thru. I am always willing to give something another shot but has to be a reason to draw me back- and one very good coaster ( from what I hear of Manta)- is not enough for $85

The park is beautiful with great coasters, great shows, great exhibits and great food ... the reasons most people go to parks.

I found the food to be on the level of Uni & WDW counter service at best. Park was dirty, workers were down right rude (was w/a person in a wheelchair w/special needs - employees could care less). A couple of coasters (which were good), but w/exception of Penguin & Shark encounter, they can keep the park (and their Disney/Uni one day ticket price).

I think some people are just addicted to pixie dust and it really doesn't matter what else is out there.

I don't understand why some folks will go to the MK for three days of a vacation when they've been dozens of times, but won't set foot at SW or UNI or Busch Gardens or Cape Canaveral ... but again, that will have to wait for my mental health and the fan community thread coming soon to a LP near you.

There should have never been such a long gap between programs.

Well if NASA wasn't a money pit maybe something would have happened. NASA spends money worse than WDI.

But this really isn't a conversation for here. Haha

If the launch happens as scheduled (I know, big IF), I'll be somewhere on the coast to watch it.

KSC's a great place to visit. Might even be worth doing in place of visit number 8,452 to the MK.

send your thanks to CHANGE - you assked for it-- Washington DC

KSC is an excellent visit and we have done it a few times now..

as for SW I don't think it's pixie dust in the eyes Spirit- the opinions I am reading here about park condition / food/ ervice etc. I hear from many people, not just DIsneyites.

And yes I know it's not all Obama's fault- the plan to stop started with W...but where is the focus on what's next ? No problem stopping the shuttle program if there is something else worthwhile to work on...
