It needs more for all members of the family, not just little girls. Give us a Fantasyland to be proud of. Add things like Casey Jr, Hook's ship, Alice in Wonderland area with dark ride. Make the Sleeping Beauty attraction more like Disneyland's walk thru. Why not have a dragon's lair like in Paris somewhere nearby? How about a Bambi themed boat ride? There's soooo much more that they could have done with the same money (or possibly just a little more0 that they're spending on some princess meet and greets. For the record, I'm fine with the Little Mermaid attraction, BatB restaurant, and even the new Dumbo area, but why can't there be a little more than meet & greets for the rest? This is Disney, for crying out loud. They're capabable of SOOOO much more than a glorified crayon encounter.

Since California Adventures is getting a much BIGGER makeover with a much bigger budget during these hard times with two solid E-tickets and several nice C & D tickets experiences and rides, why can't the Magic Kingdom - the most visited theme park in the world, get a little more love too? If this was only "phase one" of a multi-year project of some other unknown major attraction to be added a few years later, then I think there would be less complaining. If Pixie Hollow is only a "temporary" addition until the next real E-ticket were unveiled, then I think many would be salivating on what would be next. Sadly, at the pace that they add major attractions to the Magic Kingdom (it will be 20 years since Splash Mountain opened when Mermaid opens), you can see why there are so many dissapointed fans out there. Myself included. Not TOTALLY disapointed, but disapointed none-the-less. Just ONE more "C"-ticket dark ride and/or one additional 'boy' or whole family friendly addtion, I'd be the first to praise Disney for their efforts. Sadly, I just see more "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique" thinking about selling the princesses here, not overall family entertainment.

And they spend a piddling 650 million for DCA and look what we got w/ THAT. Whah whah whah. And Paris Studios cost a WHOPPING...... 500 million.....Cry me more tears. Some of us remember Disney from 1982-2001.

I don't get how the bad econy and lack of money is the reason for the low tech redo especially considering that disney just spent 4 billion dollers on marvel. How can you say they lack money when they can spend that much on an outside comapany rather then their own.

I'm not sure if it will be a fun ride or not, but I do wonder how they will work the loading/unloading out. It's kind of strange that they are building it outdoors, when it rains so much in Florida, especially when the vehicles are basicaly bowls that will collect water quite nicely. It also looks like there's just a lot of empty space in the back of the fairy area that could theoretically be used for meet and greets, but the layout of the walkways doesn't really look like that's in the plans. The thing that really strikes me about this model is how big it will be. Looking at the little people in the walkways, this is going to be huge! The main paths through the land seem like they're wider than the parade route at Disneyland, which is quite wide to begin with.
