To be fair I'm going to do something with them not just collect them, and the only ones I keep are those I don't use/find.

If you come over to my secret hideout and help me unpack from my DCL trip and my WDW trip, I'll give you EPCOT guidemaps from January 1996! (maybe throw in a LE pin too!)

This is the one kink in the mathematical argument that use of FP doesn't increase standby waits. Because if enough people do this, it will definitely increase the standby times. Because it's not as simple as "they did get there earier", because they rode it twice.

This, BTW, is not an abuse, it will be done legally with the new barcode system as well.

The bottom line of touring WDW is, only ride the major rides early in the day, late in the day, or with FP, if you don't like standing in lines. Even if they do away with FP, it will still be the same.

As I recall I read somewhere that they were going to test that.

    They'll deny you.

(Happened to my mother, not I, and YES, it was a "emergency" in relative terms. We pushed past the CMs. They b!tched. We didn't care, and proceeded to find a nice spot for Spectro.)
