I have a bunch of mugs that I use at my desk at work, and am looking forward to buying one at WL next year, I will probably get a total of only one coke with it while there, bring it home and use it at work. Did see some broad refil her Port Orleans mug at the Dixie. We thought that was wrong. Sorry Nikki, I only started here in January. Didn't intend to upset you.

As for me, I'll be buying my 4th or 5th Pop mug - stayed there a few times before.

Originally Posted By Spirit of 74 <<Wow, I don't know if that's tacky or just plain cheap.>> Oh judgmental one, it is neither. Cheap is carrying a full cooler packed with lunch meats, condiments and bread into the MK because you don't want to buy food or eat elsewhere. Tacky is taking a two-liter empty bottle and going up to a refill station and filling it with Coke. Bringing back a mug that you were told on many, many, many trips to return with and spending $20-25 at the quick serve location and filling up said mug is neither cheap nor tacky. It's being loyal to a location and taking advantage of what was started as a loyalty program (or operated as such under real world conditions) and giving the location business they wouldn't ordinarily get from me and my group. <<And to think someone who likes to criticize WDW for cheapness carries around a supply of resort mugs so that they don't have to pay for soft drinks if they happen to stop by a resort while they're visiting WDW.>> Yes. My Benz is loaded with various Disney mugs just in case I happen to stop by. Sure. I will likely only take a mug for the resort I am staying at when I travel. Since I am off-property this time (don't worry, the Mouse will get my money for rooms later this year), I am just going to bring along my WL mug in case I stop at my favorite resort and decide to dine there. <<Do you hit up the early bird buffets with all the Florida retirees, too?>> Funny ...
