The article goes on for sentence after sentence discussing the ride and then in one sentence says that the man had a preexisting medical condition ( probably to cover themselves legally ). Certainly the newpaper is attempting to label this ride a "killer ride". There is no mistaking the articles intent.

    The article implys that the ride was the predomant factor in this mans death. How do we know this man missed taking any medication that morning? There are so many factors that could have ( and more than likely did ) contribute to this mans death. To suggest that the ride itself was the predetermining contributor is incredibly simplistic and intellectually dishonest.

    The newspaper obviously had its own agenda.

    You're spot on and don't they always where WDW is concerned. Blame sells papers and draws viewers. All too many of us are looking to blame someone or something for our lot in life.

    Sometimes it is someones fault but much of the time when we are pointing the finger we should take notice of the 3 that are pointing back @ ourselves.

    Bad stuff happens all the time, unfortunately if it didn't I wouldn't have a job.

    My predominate message here is that we need to take more personal responsiblity for our actions(me more than most) esp where personal safty is concerned.

    I also want to state that I have the deepest respect for first responders and for individuals in the medical profession. Having lived through a personal medical crisis this past year I can only say that if it were not for the professionalism of the medical personel involved the situation would have been much, much worse.
