I also like Mexico City, but there is a scary undertone in most Mexican cities I have visited. I loved India, but I prefer the smaller villages to the large city.

But next on my "list" (by virtue of being cheap, convenient, and now featuring casinos!) is definitely Seoul, Kohreea.

It's now worth over $800,000.

I like Toronto -> Close to me, the most ethnically diverse city in the world (By people, home to North America's largest Chinese Mall, my birthplace...) In the US, I like SF, I like DC... For Vancouver I haven't been there since I was in the single digit age bracket, and Mr. N you might as well emigrate you spend enough time in the US and spell that way too. (My family on one side is all American, which I believe is the case in your family as well?) I loved the different prefectures in Japan, I loved shopping in those computer stores that were several stories tall, I loved the simple variety of goods, I wish my Cell phone would turn on my rice cooker, allow me to bank before I got to the ATM... C'est la vie. Manila is great -> We stay in Makati, Discos aren't as plentiful anymore and I'd never trust a cab though. The next time around I may purchase a Volvo or something and do a European delivery, spend a month or two. Haven't been there since, well for a decade. Teenagers really don't pay attention to the flavour of the city

At the time I had just found punk rock, and the whole thing was blowing up BIG there (78). I loved all the history, the roman walls, the whole city had so much it was over whelming. LA is the bomb, I love it, never has a place been so ugly and beautyfull at the same time. On one of our last Visits Dave took us out cruzing best memories ever. Los Vegas Is like a real life cartoon, I know people call it home but that is too weird to understand. Toronto , I know as a Vancouverite I am spoz to HATE the "center of the world" but the time that I spent there was very fun ,and besides it's home to the Holy Grail Citys I would love to see, but havnt yet, NEW YORK yeah I gotta go if it kills me . Barcilona, and Madrid. any where in India Venice and Rome and a million other spots in between. And Mark I am just waiting for America to annex us.

It pains me to have to go into a city for shopping, which is the only reason I go at all, and when I visit my mom in Orange County now and then, I like going to DL, but that's it. I can't wait to leave the southland and get back into the country.

Most historic, tie between Kyoto and Boston. Also similar for spectacular folliage, and they are sister cities as well. Most friendly, Madison WI. Most unfriendly, Detroit MI (this is a touch unfair, I've only been through the airport several times...but the vibe there is VERY uninviting, so much so that I'd be loathe to want to see more!). Most decadant, Las Vegas (also most fun, and most likely to be angrily destroyed by God). Least favorite, Jackson MI...if I never return in this lifetime or the next it will be just fine with me! Best food, Naha, Okinawa. Coolest city ever, Los Angeles. Also tied for most scenic with Vancouver if you consider the surrouding areas for both cities. Best vacation city, chill sub-catagory, Honolulu. Best vacation city, things to do sub-catagory, Orlando. Honorable mentions with no catagory would go to Osaka, San Francisco, and Miami.
