I wish videocameras were around back then!). In fact, Paragon park was one of the first places I've ever known to experiment with the "passport" idea, where when you bought a ticket you could ride everything all day EXCEPT for that awesome coaster which was only 5 rides per customer (they had 5 stars that the employees punched at the bottom of the ticket as you rode, and my tickets invariably ended up with five holes in them by mid-day).

OMG. (maybe not, but who knows? i can't say for sure anyway) Ah, the memories!!

AND, a roller coaster that me, my Dad, and my late Grandpa all rode and enjoyed and talked about. That was the best coaster in New England as far as I know. And the park was exciting just for that fact PLUS the fact that you had to day trip on a ferry boat from the North Shore of Boston just to get there (google "nantasket beach" for more info).

Roller coasters are so fast these days! The Griffon at Busch Gardens goes 70 MPH and that is after you hang at a 90 degree angle - you drop going so fast, it is awesome! I love the thrill!

WV and hit BGW, KD, KI CP, Kennywood and Dollywood everyyer and include atlest one trip to Otown for either Disney or Universal. Right now the HRP in Myrtle Beach is tops of my list to check out. I have been an amusement park junkie since 1971. Griffon is great, but way too short.
