I had a select bunch of favs-lots of tales from the crypt, sheena of the jungle & cartoon ones until the code changed on comics, then my mom destroyed them. She was NOT a popular person for awhile. BUT the good news is I now have replaced old comics to sniff & read thanks to ebay. Target has a simular dime store smell at the front door but it's not the same as Woolworths. Sanrio stores have the intense plastic smell which is ok for a short visit.
Gardenias are wonderful as is lavender.

But just to name a few, the generic "band room" smell you can find in just about any high school band room...and more specifically the smell of brass instruments (brass, mixed with valve oil and other assorted textures..best experienced when lifting said instrument up to your mouth and playing), drums (tons of "old wood" smells, mixed in with metals found around the rims of the drums, cymbals, and other assorted earthy and metallic elements which smell great), and strings such as violins and cellos which also contribute to the whole "musical instrument" vibe in a special way.

Special props to a dusty old piano. :)

I walked into a small local theatre here many, many years after I'd done any theatre myself, and the second I got downstairs in their backstage area, I was hit with that familiar scent, and it swept me right back. Magical.

Yes, I was a gasoline huffer as a child, too!
    Gardenias
Crayons (I've been wanting to buy the BIG box and a coloring book for months now!)
    Mountain Camping smells
    Ocean Camping smells
    Baking
    Lemons (such a clean smell)

    Florist shops
    See's Candies stores
    Jamba Juice
Wild Sage? There is a plant that grows at the side of the road here in California and I've never been able to figure out what it is, but think it must be in the sage family. I get one whiff of it and it takes me back to my childhood.
    Ginger
Rubber cement - brings back memories of working on the high school newspaper.
Pink clear erasers that smelled like jasmine.
    New plastic (think beach ball)
    Homecooked holiday dinners
Pumpkin pie fresh out of the oven
    New & old books
    Boudin bread
    Homemade tortillas
    Hot cocoa
Coffee - right after you open a new can (and I'm not even a coffee drinker!)
