The more tear downs, rebuilds and additions at DCA the merrier; I am very excited to ride in that new and improved DCA.
Mermaid will be top shelf, RSRacers and its desert camp is going to be a clear cut E experience, the main park entry will seriously beckon and the World of Color looks like a winner. Can't wait!!

Now, to seriously address the OP:
I really enjoy hanging out and watching(not riding so much) the very nicely done rock work/waterfalls/tree plantings and the ride itself of Grizzly River Run.

The rest of the park is one big visual, and audio joke as for "Disney standards".

No one here talks about DL's inherent "flaws" and yet there are many. I'd be willing to wager that some of the same LP folks that have complained about DCA since its conception will continue to find fault with the place when the dust settles. Just look at the negative talk that's already stirred up over WOC. For some people DCA will always be DL's illegitimate retarded step-child no matter what Disney does.

Dirty little secret about Sleeping Beauty Castle-- even Walt wanted it taller, but he couldn't afford it at the time. Herb Ryman even said in later years that they should raise the towers a bit. And I agree-- they are underscaled.

But I would never want a monstrosity like that skyscraper with towers they have in WDW and TDL. It's very much out of scale.

Sure there are. But they don't add up to DL having a) a generally negative view by the general public, b) attendance problems, or c) financial problems. At least none of those anywhere near the extent as DCA.

That's the difference. Despite the problems (as any place will have), DL "works." DCA doesn't - or at least didn't. I'm hopeful that things are on the mend.

Well whoopty do da to that! And how does that make me, THE GUEST, enjoy my day more? How would that make your day more enjoyable?

I don't care if Disney made or lost a billion but I do care that the effects on Pirates are working, the parks are clean and that DCA has something to hold my attention like a RSRacers or the fully detailed, AA laden Mermaid ride.

I don't run nor own the place(nor do millions of others who come to the parks) so I don't give a rip about Disney earnings or losses or the paradigm of Anaheim; just give me a dole whip and a bonafide E ticket and I'm fine.

DCA has financial problems? Where did you get that information from?

    These are two separate questions.

From the guest standpoint, some of DCA "worked" and some didn't. It has always been a mixed bag.

Whether it "worked" from Disney's point of view is a separate question, and one also worth addressing.
