Although I love the holidays at the park (truly magical), summertime was when my family went most often, and when I later went with friends when I was able to go alone. The holidays were always so busy for my family and it was much the same with my friends. So summer was the time we reserved for Disney. My birthday is during the summer too, so that was frequently one of the excuses for going to the park at that time. Hot, yes. Crowded, yes. But there was just something about summer. I even preferred summer when I worked at the park as a CM. It was busy, and created more action.

Some schools have off. And the popularity of HalloweenTime. Of course the week of Thanksgiving is getting crazy too. Many schools have the whole week off now. But November before that week, excepting Veteran's Day, isn't that crowded. And the week after T'giving is dead.
