Grand Floridian - definitely a very nice hotel with some great perks (close to MK, water launches, marina) and great restaurants (but pricey); seemed like a long bus ride from Studios and AK parks though.

Contemporary Resort - always seemed busy with conferences, monorails running through, etc.; nice view of MK from tower, but actually liked Bay Lake view side better for its relative tranquility; nice pool and marina; nice proximity to MK and to Epcot via monorail

Wilderness Lodge - pool and marina areas are unique and nice; rooms more like moderate resorts (two doubles either too small for couple or not suited for family of 4); bus service seemed spotty since it was sharing same busses with Contemporary

Yacht Club - great pool area, great proximity to Epcot restaurants via "backdoor"; huge building with lots of walking to get around; good but pricey dining

Carribean Resort - decent but not great value; much nicer experience if close to dining area; bus service somewhat slower with all the stops (although stops generally closer to rooms than some resorts); small pools in each complex nice perk over single larger pool areas for resorts; dining pretty average

All-Star Music/Sports: bus service very good (lots of busses with little waiting required); food court fare marginal (eat breakfast and snacks there by dine in parks); premium room upgrade (based strictly on location) well worth extra money to avoid long walks to pools/food court; still find these resorts better than alternative of staying offsite and driving in to WDW each day, especially now that Magic Express provides free transportation to and from airport negating need for a rental car

Of course my experience is limited, being that I have only stayed at AKL, ASMu, ASMo, POP, WL and POR. However, in 3 weeks I will be staying a weekend at the Contemporary and I have a feeling my favorite might change!!

OKW is my favorite - of course staying in the 3 bedroom villas can't really be compared to a normal hotel room.

Of the remaining I like WL the best. My least favorites were the Contemp (Stayed in the garden wing earlier this year. Unrenovated room, very dated. Long walk to the tower) and Caribbean Beach (was unimpressed with the resort)
