VBdad, One can the see the Broadway show or tour for much less than two hundred dollars....

I due truly wish though they would kill the "Beauty" show at the studio park...It is just awful, old and so very tired....Another example of how little they care in Fl. as to what is presented as live entertainment in the parks...Bring back the old Dick Tracy show...It was a lot more fun and entertaining to me but I doubt others would agree....

However, the MK's forecourt Stage has it's space and size limitations... Remember..everything they do at TDL is usually done in the bigger scale that the park itself really is.. A small side show at TDL, such as "Minnie O' Minnie" in Adventureland is *bigger* than the MK's Cinderellabration, if you can believe that, and even the "MO'M" stage is smaller than the MK Forecourt stage!!!

depends on what show and what day of the week and where you want to sit to see the show though....

The point is you are looking for a great experience, not a good one-- so a few hundred would be in line. Otherwise why compare the two ? One is an attraction, one of many, and the other is the only reason you go to the building.

I am not saying that the shows couldn;t be better, I just thought the comparison to a Broadway production was apples and oranges. Kind of like comparing a city bus and a Mercedes 500 SL as means of transportion....both will get you somewhere but really the comparison stops there

I know a lot of shows got cut back after 9/11 -- but I did think they would return when the crowds did. I agree that the amount of live entertainment is down from even 10 years ago.....but my concern is that once again, like those who argue that EPCOT shouldn't edu-tain as much any more because the masses want thrills -- I am not sure the masses are clamoring for more live entertainment. I am not saying I agree with that either.

No that I don't agree with you here...but that would take a lot of creativity and $$ for manpower -- neither of which seems to be long in supply right now for live shows. The question I have raised however is that fine, you and I want to see that, and a number of people who frequent here. But what about Joe visitor....is it quality live shows or more go fast rides they want. Unfortunately, unless I miss my guess it is the latter, and that is who they are going to cater to the most-- right or wrong.

Aladdin(beautifully choreographed, a sound storyline and 1st class seating arrangements)out west at the Cal Adv. is by far the finest Disney stage show and yet I don't hear much about it.
