'tis simple, really. What it the better soundtrack? We far prefer Tarzan to Lion King. What else are you going to judge it on... if bouncers are better than jumpers??

FOTLK is my favorite show at WDW. I saw Lion King in LA for $70 a ticket and while I enjoyed it, I actually like FOTLK more. I've learned that seat location actually plays a huge part my enjoyment of shows. Put me 10 rows back instead of 30 and my interest is much higher. While the seating at FOTLK is just a bench, you are close to the action, with no bad view.

Thats the great thing about WDW, you have many, many choices to keep you occupied.

And *LOUD*, which is why I dislike the show totally. Not to mention that bad Tarzan wig that poor guy has got to wear.

Never mind, I'll forego the politeness, LOL.

It's not the music I object to, it's the presentation of it. It rocks all right... right to the bottom of the Kali River Rapids if I had my way. I know they are going for hip, cool, and fun, but to me it's hokey.

In all fairness, it *is* called Tarzan Rocks, not Tarzan Vienna Boys Choir.

Actually, the Chrismas show at Dollywood might be the best amusement park show I've ever seen.

I'm sure the performers are wiped out after one show as it stands now -- FOLK is a high energy show. Even if the performers aren't in every show every day they still have to crash at the end of the day. So how could it be improved to "Broadway" standards? The music is excellent, the current voices are the best they've had, and the costuming is bright and colorful appealing to the children and families it is targeted to. I've seen it more times to count and I still notice things that I haven't seen before. Sometimes I wonder if they are tweeking the choreography or if there is just so much going on that I miss things. Anyway, I don't think it could be improved and still be a show in a park.

As for Tarzan Rocks, I also enjoy this show on an entirely different level. The acro and skating portions of the show are incredible to watch and provide the wow factor for kids. The choreography is excellent. The performers always are high energy and look like they are having a blast. My only complaint is that it is tooooooooo loud. I do agree that it is hokey -- but it's in a family amusement park so I can live with it.

Just my humble opinion. I know most people don't agree with me, you guys never do, but I enjoy your letting me state my opinions and only occasionally bashing me.

Only half bad taste. I did enjoy the Jungle Book show much much better myself.

Spamalot was only here for a 5 or 6 week run -- and as such those were the prices --

Remember Chicago now gets many Broadway shows here for 'sneak peaks' as a test case before they open in New York. So in limited runs they feel they can charge whatever they like.....and there are no seats available for something like Spamalot. People were auctioning them off for outrageous amounts because of that fact.
This happens a lot here, and we only get the Broadway show long after it has been playing in N.Y.
Heck it took us years before we got Lion King -- seemed everyone was ahead of us for that too.

The top seats for Spamalot were $350- weekend - box office ( not scalpers or broker)
