It's still not "Wow I gotta have that" but if it goes on sale, I'd probably buy it.

I'm afraid to wait until any of the new merchandise goes on sale, because I'm afraid that I'll miss my opportunity to buy it! Especially the Omnibus, the Plaque, the Haunted Mansion pin set and the Dumbo big fig.

I think the catalog picture has benefited from some Photoshop enhancing. But I still think it's "ok" looking and will probably get one anyway. Maybe if I can get another one cheap later on I will attempt some surgery to add a pseudo-interior... Anyone have any idea what the Eyvind Earle tapestry might be? I know he did several Disneyland castle interior paintings and also castle exterior paintings for the Sleeping Beauty movie but I don't recall any Disneyland castle exteriors he did. Maybe the tapestry will be an interior instead of an exterior? Anyhow, $199 is plenty steep. And I know I will be probably committing blasphemy for some of the big Tiki fans out there but is that Tiki Drummer absolutely ugly beyond ugly? Tiki die-hards aside, I'm not sure too many people would be proud to have that guy sitting in the middle of their living room.
