Interesting because although MR did create the Monorail, I don't believe they had anything at all to do with the creation or production of the Jungle Cruise Boat. This, along with the lower prices on the Disney website seems to indicate that there is still a whole big bunch of these items remaining.

They didn't skimp on this one. Incredible attention to detail and, being made of metal, its really heavy. Also, it comes in a very sturdy box with a graphic of the bus on the lid. I highly recommend this for the serious collector, well worth the price. Also received the tin signs and the plaque. I really like the submarine sign the best and I personally think the "Here you leave..." plaque is nicer than the dedication plaque released last year. Still waiting for the Tiki and D'land logo shirts which should arrive today. That leaves the Tiki drummer which is still on order. Thank you Kevin and Jody for another great and unique selection of collectables. Bill.

I'm not sure I'd say that it is better than the dedication plaque like williamedit, but it is nice. And the snowglobe....all I can say is WOW. I was very impressed. The back is rasied higher than the front, so you can see a lot of detail from the front, which is nice. I was hoping there would be more detail behind the castle snowglobe, but there isn't. The rides represented are the MS railroad, Jungle Cruise, Mark Twain riverboat, Big Thunder Mtn RR, Autopia, Skyway (is that what it's called?), and the Moonliner Rocket (I may be wrong on what that's called too). Other things on it are the Adventureland entrance and Fronteirland entrance, a horse drawn wagon (in FL), some trees in the hub, and a horse drawn carriage on MS. Goofy is riding an Autpia car, Donald is in a canoe, Minnie has a map, Dumbo has a flag, and Mickey's standing there (all in a little globe). I know this was long, but for anyone who is on the fence about the snowglobe, I hope I helped!

I just thought that was a nice touch of synergy.
