The dedication plaque is 7"x 7", and the new plaque is 8"x 5". I think the new plaque seems bigger than it is because the writing is bigger than that of the dedication plaque.

But anyway, it arrived safely today and I couldn't be happier. The mirror is awesome and really, really heavy. The plaque, though small as you said, is just gorgeous. The tin signs and pin set are also very nicely done.
