Dory, Avengers 2 and Episode 7. That's three films that could reach 400 million domestic and 1 billion worldwide.

I guess it will not be as successful as the last four films, but I'm sure it will make a lot of money.

I'm also not sure about Episode VII being released in 2015. I wouldn't be surprised if that movie would get delayed as well.

He hasn't shown any interest in the company's long-term future, so why would he leave a potential blockbuster on the slate after he's gone. That said, I don't expect Pirates 5 to do very well. A lot of people were turned off of the series after the 3rd one. Personally, I thought it was pretty good (especially if you view 2 & 3 as a combined film), but the 4th one was absolutely dreadful. Even for a big POTC fan, and a big Disney fan like me, I have serious doubts if I'll even see it in theaters. I suspect that the average movie-goer cares far less.

Many people said that POTC 4 will not be successful and it was a big one, that's why I think part 5 will do fine as well. Even if it will not make the same amount of money like the recent movies, I'm sure it will earn enough. >>>Makes sense that they would want 2015 to be a big year, as it's Iger's last year with the company. Wasn't there a rumour recently about Iger not leaving in 2015, because of Shanghai and Lucasfilm?

And considering the average amount of time between sequels is about 2 to 3 years Pixar isn't exactly pumping these out
