Originally Posted By disney pete Thanks everyone for well wishes,prayers fingers crossed etc,went for my op on thur at 9.50 am was just suppossed to be a 30 min op to remove polyps from my nose and straighten my nasal passages,it appears as they where operating they penetrated a membrain causing a bleeding on my brain after a 90 min op found myself back in recovery room where they explained the problems but i was way to out of it to comprehend,its been 3 uncomfortable days in hospital so im glad to be back home to rest as i never slept for more than 30 mins in there managed a couple of hours in my own bed last night and feel slightly better but still very week and shaky,i have an appointment next wednesday with my consultant wher i want to ask many questions especially about the bleed and if if will effect me in anyway or come back to haunt me they gave me many meds to take home with me one of them to stop the brain swelling,im a little worried for my well being but lots worried if something happened to me about kristine as it would be to much to lose a baby and a husband within 2 years,she was very upset when she came to visit in hossy and was most unimpressed with the care i was getting which i have to agree was quite poor,hopefully we are worring over nothing and i will make a full recovery ASAP thanks again LP family you are the best.
