Originally Posted By Sara Tonin OTMC is on the opposite side of the street and the name of the place is Old Town Mexican Cafe...it's the one with the ladies hand making tortillas at the front of the restaurant...even locals love this place....also another great locals place is Hoodad's in Ocean Beach...straight in on 8E (I couldn't tell you the address, I've been in sd so long I use landmarks not street names) but it's close to the beach (a couple blocks) and they have ginormous, artery clogging, delish burgers and have a big variety of "house" burgers.

They take you around waterfront communities and you can see all the great lights on all the houses. We live in Long Beach so we like to take one evening each December and walk around Naples with hot chocolates and look at all the lights. You can probably see them even better from the water. What about ice skating? There has to be a fun outdoor rink somewhere in Southern California...
