Now, we viewers are not told specifically what happened to Buzz and Sonja, but most assume they went off to college somewhere; the only reference is when twice Mama mentions no-shows to the upcoming funeral, she says "No Buzz & Sonja" along with a few other names. During this time, Ed & Eunice have recently moved to FL. Now, Bubba had just been released from Juvenile Hall early for good behavior, where he had served time for stealing a car (Bubba: "I borrowed it!" Mama: "Well Mister you're borrowin' days are over!" LOL), and he couldn't go with Ed & Eunice "because" (as Iola tells us), "a minor on probation cannot leave the state for one full year". Mama: "What?! Are you sure about that?" Iola: "Don't you watch 'Miami Vice'?" (lol) He went to Ed's & Eunice's first but the place was all locked up, so he went over to "Grandma"'s house, where they discovered him after Fran's funeral, and he had to choose whether to stick it out with Grandma or go back to Juvenile Hall. Of course he chose Mama, and she gave him Frannie's old room upstairs (much to the consternation of Vint & Naomi, who had been eyeing that room from their basement---but Mama wanted him up there "to keep an eagle eye on his every move!" lol) So there you have it. You have so made my night, Mrs 2oon. LOL Any other questions, peep out of the closet again and don't be afraid to ask We now get back to your topic of "FIRST DANCE" (I'm sorry Suzie!! Lol!)

Selecting songs as we did in Lisann's question has been on my mind. There are sooooo many I didn't even remember. And why are these songs so important? Memories!!!! And, girls, I have just a few more years of memories than you. I was married in 1968. Our song was "Ebb Tide" by The Righteous Brothers from their "Unchained Melody" album. *sigh* and another *sigh* And did I include that on my list? No. Actually, my list wasn't complete. I exhausted myself trying to list songs. I've lived so much longer than you children, I have too much more to remember. LOL
