First souvenir?

    The lady at the silhoutte shop is great- and very quick. I dont think she would have a problem doing a baby. You can hold the baby, and hold a toy in front of her so she'll be looking the right way.

    We had one done with both kids on one trip, then the next trip we had ds with Mickey and dd with Tink. They are some of my favorite things I've bought at DL.

    oneyepete, yes the hats were very small. I didn't compare them but they seemd smaller than the regular youth sizes.

    Also, I think something a lot of people don't know is that she automatically makes two of each silhouette. My boyfriend and I noticed that when she was doing it so we bought two frames and now we each have one!

    That's a good one, Kylesmom. Her grandparents got us one when they went down in November. But some type of 50th souvenir that shows the date is a great idea. I like the part about putting the ornament on the tree each year.

    When my kids were babies the first souvenier was always a character baby spoon. Don't even know if they still sell them. Due to a house fire in 1984 we only have two left. A Donald and a Mickey. They are treasured possessions.

    How about the "invisible" dog on a leash that you could get at the Main Street Magic shop. One of my nephews pulled that one out of the attic over Christmas -- still a winner in the fun department!
