Mumford and his team wanted to make substantial changes but were forced to keep the theme because of an unrealistic tiny budget.

It helps that audio is pretty darn cheap to redo.

It looks like a space piece out of a satellite or high end car. Very polished and fine-tuned looking, not like cheap box metal.. more a custom machined part.
