Joe certainly deserves the promotion! S-VP would more than likely be a step out of the initial creative process which Joe loves so much. Similar reason why Tim Delaney is "only" a VP despite over quarter of a century at WDI. He loves working on the little details and he is free to do so in his current role. I can think of lots of other hugely talented folk that haven't been promoted quickly at WDI: Alec Scribner, Corey Sewelson, Tom Morris, Kevin Rafferty. They all have decades of experience with WDI but they love the creativity of their current roles. Also there are only so many S-VPs and E-VPs required at WDI. <<Can you give us a hint as to what those are, Lee, without inviting death? 8^D>> He is free-wheeling at the moment and relaxing a bit (including vacation). Everest was all-consuming with a lot of traveling and having kids that are still young made that difficult. He is tinkering on some US projects but nothing specific as of yet. I'm sure I'll have some news before the end of the year on that though.

So they have been getting a lot of feedback from people like me, who would like to attend the Figment event. But I already paid for the pin event. I am not going to skip out on 1/3 of something I already paid for to go to another event. So no Figment event for me.

Originally Posted By idleHands Yes, it is an extra $151 dollars. But as hopemax points out, the pin drops the price to $116. Now factor in the admission to Epcot. Most inside-the-park special merch events include admission, at least the DL special merch events used to. (AP holders typically received a small discount when registering.) I would assume this event will also include admission in the price. That's another $63, bringing the price down to $53. That's not too shabby for a two-hour luncheon & seminar, artist meet-n-greet signing (Bruce is a great guy to chat with), and evening dessert gathering.
