This is what they did last year though, breakfast before pin event registration.

The 350 event attendees get a Figment & Dreamfinder Jumbo pin, but other than that the only merchandise is the WDCC piece.

    > So they dropped the seminar after all that?

Looks like. And the breakfast time is only an hour. I suppose they could have someone speak during it, but probably not.

Breakfast is a buffet, with tables nearby so you can eat and chat with fellow Figment foamers. Bruce Lau sits at a separate table with WDCC reps hovering nearby, to sign accompanying certificates upon request (sculpts are already pre-signed by Bruce) and talk about his work. And WDCC reps have a small display of upcoming releases to discuss as well. And the walkaround Figment from Epcot is available for photo ops. (That line was much longer than the one to meet-n-greet Bruce. =8^0)

No seminar, no speakers, nothing resembling a "special" merch event like originally planned for the Odyssey.

WDSE was most likely too preoccupied with their upcoming cork conference.

    Lee... can you confirm this?

Has the green light been bestowed?
