Sorry to tick you off danny boy, but seriously, talking endlessly about FP is not going to change it, which seems to me to be the purpose of these threads.

Honestly, if I opened a thread every couple of weeks about how much Pooh's playground sucked, don't you think people would get annoyed?

I do not own LP, I cannot tell people how to post, however when something annoys me I have every write to say so.

Sorry, I didn't read the last line of your post. Therein lies the problem. These threads do die on their own, and then BOOM, there's another thread created to start the discussion all over again.

I don't care what the name of the thread is, if I keep opening threads about Pooh's playground, people are going to keep going back to the same points. There are only so many things you can say about it. You either like it because you have young kids and you want them to play, or you hate it because it took the spot of an E ticket that was dear to your heart.

Do you mean the "Nightmare" overlay, or the "nightmare overlay?"

This is your conclusion, and may not be the conclusion of others. It may just be that LP threads exist to talk endlessly about subjects, without accomplishing anything. Why does it have to accomplish something?

Please -- if you get tired of it, quit reading. We're not here to entertain you.

Though I admit, some of what we say may be quite entertaining.

    Sometimes even unintentionally.

    Why would I?

That's what the Scroll Down key is for. I use it.

I see an uninteresting thread, I pass over it. I don't let it affect my day.

That way you'd only see the threads you want to see in your own list. You'd only have to check the full list once in a while to see if anything new and interesting has come up.

And to complain about people who might be posting too much on a topic for your taste.

Y'know what? I completely agree with you on this. You express your opinion, I express mine, and just maybe both of us might learn something from it. What a concept!

    >These threads do die on their own, and then BOOM, there's another thread created to start the discussion all over again.<

At the risk of sounding rude, SO WHAT? If people are contributing, then there must be something to talk about. If you're tired of the subject, DON'T PARTICIPATE!

If FP threads were really unpopular, then there'd be dozens of threads with 2 or 3 posts in them. But that's not the case. Some of these threads go on for hundreds of posts. As long as people want to chat, bring it on. If you're tired of it, drift away to other threads of interest.

All of that's just my opinion, of course. I don't want you to go anywhere, Mom!!!

Then will you please try to understand without also trying to control? Thank you.

And if you will go back to Post #1 and Post #2, you will see that I was trying to post a summary. And I think it's a good one.

Can you tell me if anyone else has ever posted an FP summary? If so please send me the URL or the reference and I will add it to my knowledge base.

If not, then it's a new thing.

I wasn't REALLY trying to control. I was throwing a little hissy fit. We all do that sometimes. ;)

You're supposed to be able to search, but whenever I've done it I haven't had much luck.
