It's a Crunchy Seasoned Beef Taco, valued at 91 cents. Which is no surprise considering some of the starting pitchers have a batting average to match.

Tacos are by definition served on soft corn tortillas!

Okay, if NONE of you remember Taco Bell's TNS campaign, Taco Neck Syndrome is what happens when you eat a lot of tacos: your neck is at an angle all the time. Shaq and Spike were in these ads and TNS apparently made Shaq a better player.

In a corner of that restaurant they had some very old ladies patting out the masa tortillas. Then, one day, I was at a "Pup and Taco" in L.A. and they had something I'd never seen before. It was called a burrito. And it had a funny tortilla wrapped around it made of something other than corn flower. It took me a while to get used to it. And even if you had a corn tortilla, it was always crispy. I had never heard of a soft taco until I was at that "Pup and Taco".

Those Southern Californians sure ate some wierd stuff.

I can't remember the name because it was forty years ago, but they served such things as stewed cactus, a lot of pork, etc.

That makes me think of the story when my father was in Mexico and ordered grilled pork and they slaughtered the pig right in front of him. Sheesh.

I've certainly never heard of such things before reading this post. I can't fit my head around the idea...how...?

You would have thought they were giving away cash!
