You can believe whatever you want, but that doesn't make it true.

Like I said, the Tooth Fairy "might" exist too, but I don't believe it personally.

There is nothing, NOTHING reasonable or valid in believing in some magical everlasting superbeing.

Go ahead, if you think you even know what it is.

Anyway, you've proven your personal level of "scruples" through your prejudiced statements and efforts. If you went on the attack towards me, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. I'd probably find it amusing.

    So, go for it.

But Josh obviously has lots of time and absence of scruples when it comes to bashing homosexuals. Maybe you should get a boyfriend, X. Then he'd find a bit more time for you.

He acts upset when people discuss things about his religion yet actively campaigns against homosexuals having the same rights he enjoys. That's bashing. His idea that he somehow has more scruples and is more moral than everyone else (who isn't glassy-eyed Mormon) doesn't have the whole truth. More bashing.

You're getting closer and closer to showing your hand, Douglas. Also, I can't think of anyone on here that has shown more hate in general over time than the very Godful person from your own state who used to post here. But that never seemed to upset you much. It's almost as if you think being "Godless" is far worse than being hateful.

Liddy Dole certainly thought as much.

The thinking must be that it doesn't matter what the background of the person is, he's a "good guy" if he spouts the correct propaganda.

Looking at the parade of "experts" trotted out this year, their sole qualification seeming to be that they had something negative to say about Obama, certainly seems to support that (and not only Fox News either!).

I can think of several. It must be sad and empty to not be able to conceive of something greater than yourself. That's probably what makes the godless so petty and spiteful.

    No.

    It's very enlightening, actually.

Yes, because the "godful" (is that the proper term?) are so devoid of any sort of pettiness and spitefulness...

    Right?

Would such beliefs on my part relieve me of my pettiness and spitefulness?

What I have always found interesting that those who preach about a loving God also (seemingly unknowingly) make that God out to be a hateful person. That God that some of you religious people preach IMHO is a clear reflection of His creators - you.

If there is a God (and I genuinely hope there is) I suspect He/She/It is nothing like us. Otherwise there would be nothing godlike about it.
