The "Curious George" thing was a lullaby album by Jack Johnson. The fact that it happened to be a soundtrack was secondary. Worth noting: When the article says there have been only four animated movie soundtracks to reach #1 on the Billboard 200, keep in mind that the Billboard 200 started in 1956. Very few Disney movies after that date had what could properly be called soundtrack albums. Trivia question: What was the first Hollywood movie soundtrack album of any kind ever ever ever? Originally Posted By mawnck >>The partially animated Mary Poppins also had a #1 soundtrack (14 weeks at #1, in fact.)<< Yes, BUT (serious geek-ery ahead so look out!) the only animated characters heard on it are the backup singers on "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". The animals on "Jolly Holiday" didn't make the album. Weirdly, the soundtrack of that section can be found on the DQ-series "second cast" cheapo LP (as can Bert's "One Man Band" version of the same song. You know you can play it backwards, which is "Uncle Albert is dead, man, miss him, miss him, miss him", but that's going a bit too far, don't you think?
