LOL Labuda. Don't tell anyone here I said that. Texas does have good BBQ too. "

*sigh* That's a bit better, but "good" BBQ in Texas is that which we don't eat. We only have the best (and Rudy's hehe) here! :D

I have been coaxed ever so lovingly to continue with part of our original plan.

First, we will take the short flight to Vegas for one night of sin.

Then, we jet over to Seattle to spend time with my sister from another mister.

Then to San Fran hopefully to meet with some groovy axe murderers.

Then back home to LA and drive to Legoland as we've never been there before and hope there are some great photo opps.

I have printed out this thread to plan next years trip...I really appreciate all of your input!!

Well, I am in the DFW area and have never eaten Rudy's. My DH loves it and we tried to stop there once, but it was packed and we didn't have time to wait. It smelled wonderful though.

Next time you're headed through Austin, try hitting the one round exit # 254 when you're southbound on 35 - close to the gwy and yes, it's crowded, but sooooo worth standing in line for 10 to 15 minutes. Plus, if you're passing through in the am and just want to grab a taco, they put thaose in the convenience store section of the shop.

There are some really super axe-murderers up there. We always have at least one meet when we visit up there.

Anyway, hope to catch you on your trip this summer be in north or west.
