Yet, post after post (earlier in the thread) said they saw nothing of the sort on Gay Day. Only one or two posters said they saw anything untoward, with several noting that they typically see more overt displays among straight folks on any given day at DL. So you seem to be complaining about something that didn't even exist.

Unless that's not really your problem.

The tshirt that seemed to annoy people the most was the one with the arrow on the back pointing down, that states, Insert Here, or insert "something" here.

I heard some adult, who had kids with him, fuming for a second with his wife. His wife said something like "You wanted to come to L.A., what did you expect?" And the husband said something like, "I know but, grumble grumble, the kids...grumble, protect them...grumble... i know they are smart enough...grumble...of course i think they can take care of themselves, but.....

I was also walking past Star Tours, with 4 of the redshirted people in front of me. Again, one of the t-shirts had the same statement on it. A 14 year old male kid started yelling something about fags real loud in my ear as he walked behind me. He thought he was funny or something cause the kid kept at it and got louder.

Finally i turned around and there were 6 kids, 3 girls and 3 boys, about 15 or 14 years old, smiling walking behind me, but addressing the red shirted people in front of us.

The kid, who had been yelling something about gays or fags or something behind me, jumped when i stopped. He quickly walked around and ahead of me, then started up again, chanting something i assumed was sarcastically derogatory with the word "gay" repeated loudly every sentence or two.

However, i did notice the lettering on the red shirt was pink and hard to read, so you could have easily missed reading what it said if you had wanted to.

It was not bold lettering like white on black that can seem like the tshirt wearer is screaming at the world.

I sat at one point in new orleans sq. and did a grid. I estimated about 5 percent were red shirts or less.

Just a normal day at the park, i would say.

Sorry, just kidding. It's not really a good idea to just pop in and add an opinion without first reading the whole thread, or at least until one gets the gist of the discussions. What you have missed was a very thoughtful and well written list of posts discussing calmly and politely both sides of the issue, as well as a few issues inbetween.

So if your only point is that Disney shouldn't organize a day for people who are gay, then you win. Speaking of "take it somewhere else..."
