Bottom line is as long as thier not going around making out (this applies to straight as well as gay couples) I don't care. Also don't try to push being gay on me (has happened on previous gay days and I called security immediately and they were removed from the premises, I don't go trying to push being straight on them, fair is fair). Now 99% of them don't do anything inappropriate, but there are bad people in every crowd, again I just don't see the point of Gay Days, as no other group gets days for them. You want equal treatment, fine, we want it too!

I think the bottom line is that as a society we tolerate a great deal of inequality. As a general rule, unlike Christians and heterosexuals, homosexuals have been kept out of mainstream society in this country. You state that there are on Christian Days at the park so apparently you don’t know that Disney actually has held several Christian private events at both DL and WDW (Night of Joy) over the years. I can think of a better place for gays to publicly show their values for family than at Disneyland.

I remember seeing a couple nearly in the act of coitus on Haunted Mansion once.

    It's a family park, not a family-making park!

Amen to that. The bastid still owes me I dunno how many tequila shots. The 10th anniversary of his death is coming up this November 8. I can't believe it's been that long. I was playing Poor and Famous in my truck today as a matter of fact. Apparently you and I so far are the only ones who miss him around here, because no one else has said anything about Poofter and Brown Eyed Handsome Man, if ya know whut I mean.

if you are so afraid of people being present that might be different than you are, you are going to have a tough time going ANYWHERE IN PUBLIC, mister.
but usually, when someone is so sensitive on this subject, it simply means that they themselves are ready to switch sides, if you know what i mean.
by the way, i am 100% hetero, and i am more offended by the gayness of all of these parades at disneyland than any gay pride parade that i have ever seen.

Just regular, park-going participants who happened to be in red shirts. In fact, we ran into a lesbian couple on CarToon Spin who were in the middle of a scavenger hunt in which they were supposed to take a photo of them kissing in front of the castle. They wre really uncomfortable with the idea, obviously afraid of offending anyone with even aquick peck.

And that made me sad! *small soapbox* Why SHOULDN'T they be able to exchange a quick kiss in front of the caslte like any other couple? I told them if there was ever a time, this was the time to do it. But was sad and intrigued by their shyness, on a day like GAY DAYS.

So for anyone accusing the homosexual groups of being "unfamily", I have to agree that I have seen far more heterosexual couples being inappropriate. Today, with the homos, it was fab. *grin*
