I have family who are friends with Lopez, have known him for years - he's far far from a racist. He generally has a very positive vibe and does a lot of charitable work.

He's there to make as much money as he possibly can by making people laugh and getting butts in the seats. He goes that very well, and he's not going to stop anytime soon.
