So now I'm mostly using Este Lauder or Lancome and toping it with Philosophy gloss which really has staying power. Around here lip liner has lost popularity, so the only time I used it is to put a base color all over my lips using the side of a sharp liner before I use gloss. (I hate those roll up kind without a sharp point.) Man, talk about color that stays!

All this being said, I go for color and durability.

And, although it doesn't sound like it, I really like the natural look. Wow, doesn't it take a lot of work to look "natural", lol.

Not seen the Blistex Lip fusion though, it sounds good (what's the betting I can't get it here lol)

I only very occasionally wear lipgloss if I'm going somewhere nice, as with the rest of the make up I just mostly don't bother lol!

I've never been a pink girl and my lips are too big to be using lip gloss - that's too much shine coming at a person.

This reminds me and seems relevant around here, did anyone else see / get Disney's "Toon Tint" range of Disney lip glosses? I bought the Cleo Cloral colour - I've never worn it because nothing looks worse on me than orange lips, but being a Cleo fan and a MAC fan I had to buy it!

I wanted that one too! They were out of it when I went so I just got Cleo. I only really wanted those two, so didn't get the others.

LOL! Well, I always used the Garanimals version of lipstick and lip liner so I know I matched and never looked like that! Hilarious visual though.

Well said! I'm not used to lipstick anymore and feel the same way.... buuuuut I'm really kinda feeling the need to be brave and try something. And there are lots of good brand suggestions here to get me started. Now I just need a Girl's Day Out to go experiment...

I am also addicted to chapstick type stuff. I can't go to sleep without putting some on. Right now I have vaseline lip therapy, cherry, on my nightstand and a lime chapstick on my bathroom counter. I also really liked the Bath and Body Works products but they've changed them to a squeeze tube which is harder to use on the run, I still have a "ripe red currant" lip balm that I am trying to make last.
