They are supposed to tint your lips and then you use a clear coat during the day to "freshen" the lipstick. I am also addicted to chapstick type stuff. I can't go to sleep without putting some on. Right now I have vaseline lip therapy, cherry, on my nightstand and a lime chapstick on my bathroom counter. I also really liked the Bath and Body Works products but they've changed them to a squeeze tube which is harder to use on the run, I still have a "ripe red currant" lip balm that I am trying to make last.
