Don't miss it. (The hedge maze there was no doubt the inspiration for the maze that's at the U.K. showcase at Epcot. You'll see the Tudor chimneys from HCP at Epcot too.)

I would also say that stone henge dissappoints a lot of people, so if doing it as an excursion, try to do one that also takes in either Salisbury or Bath.

As a part of an excursion that takes in the Roman Baths and Georgian beauty of Bath, or the largest steeple in the world at Salisbury, then it could be worth while. It is a long drive (about 3 hours min), so I would have thought it best to make it more worth while. But if prehistoric icons are of interest, it is a facinating site if you use your imagination and make full use of the museum.

Originally Posted By davewasbaloo It depends how much you want to travel around the city (where are you staying, I hope a safe neighbourhood, some of Zone 2 can be a little dodgy). If you were to travel to the centre once and then back each day, than Oyster is worth while (it is about £4 a day - £28 worth over 7 days). If you want to hop around and go freely, then a weekly travel card is the way to go. My gut instinct is a weekly will serve you better.
