I haven't seen the odds posted here yet - but I can tell you Medinah os oneof those old courses where lefties usually struggle with the way it sets up

Well I don't know a lot about Furyk except that he has been close recently to winning. And the line in the end that seperates the winner from 2 and 3 is so very thin.

I don't see Els winning it, but if old guys win at old courses well maybe. jk ;)

IF and that is a big if, Tiger is able to leave the driver in the bag, it may be ugly again.

Does Medinah allow Tiger to use his long irons and hit those "stingers" or will he have to pull out the big guns on this course?

Also sometimes is just comes down to who is hitting the ball well, and who is not. I think Tiger is on a streak with a great swing that is really working for him, as well as an extremely solid mental state of poise. He is certainly the player to beat on this one I think.

It should be a great tourey, but I don't like Phil Mickleson paired with Tiger.

I found this on the PGAtour.com ... you may be onto something vbdad.

    <<<Flying Low, Finishing High:
He may rank behind Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods in terms of recognition, but Jim Furyk's golf game is nipping at their heels. With nine top-10 finishes in 18 starts this season and heading to Medinah with four consecutive top-four finishes under his belt, the 2003 U.S. Open champion is one of the favorites to add a second major championship trophy to his collection this week.>>>

Live TV Coverage will be on TNT for this one.

I can't wait to see the course in more detail.

    2002 Open Championship

Looking forward for the coverage on tv.

If Fred Couples makes a few birdies..who knows, but his back is a issue.

WOW!!! Well I guess with 3 full courses and everything else that is a fitting membership. I read that the average large private club membership usually tops out around 400, but that would be a club with 18 holes, swim, and tennis. Medinah has so much more!

If the initiation fee is $85,000 I wonder what the monthly dues would run you.

I know! Tiger all the way in my mind.

I like Fred Couples. He's a great guy, been around a while and is proven. BUT...well nothing is impossible I guess.

I don't look for Els to be a threat.

These are on Callway balls. I am not entirely sure, but I think it's on ALL of the Callway balls today.

I don't know how, if any, better the design is, but FOR THE MONEY the Callaway HX HOT is IMHO the best ball for the money. It doesn't spin as well as some, but for a NON-tour caliber ball it serves me really well.

They cost about half of the what the Nike One's or the other Tour quality balls cost, and they are still a 3 piece ball, as opposed to everyone else's middle of the road ball seems to be two piece...not that 3 piece is better than two, but anyway, I like em.
