Appreciated the garland along the top of the building, though. Was one of the few holiday decorations I saw at the park. Studios Catering Co. Restrooms: Quite private (do with that what you will). And also in the men's restroom on the wall there are several framed photographs of productions being filmed at MGM (really, check this out and take some pictures next time you go, EE). One is a picture of the NY Street with lots of filming personnel. Another photograph looks like a picture of something being filmed on the backlot residental street that was demolished for LMA (thanks a lot, crummy stunt show). I found it quite funny that these pictures were relegated to a restroom, since of course this kind of film production probably hasn't occurred in, what, ten-fifteen years. Unrelated to restrooms, but I wanted to add I ended the day listening to a cover band playing next to the BAH. Heard them play Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy" (dunno why they were playing that) and something else. The music was so loud that I couldn't hear the CM at the popcorn stand next to the green DHS arch. And this wasn't New Years Eve, either. Nothing says "Old Time Hollywood Fun" like a gigantic blue hat structure and a band covering a 1990's one-hit wonder at a deafening volume.

But, I dunno, it left a particularly bad taste in my mouth at the end of the day (and this was in addition to the bad taste of the lukewarm popcorn that my wife wanted!).

I'm grinning just thinking about it all.

ALL THESE YEARS AND HE WAS RIGHT!!!); 2.)Disney really could do more if it wasn't for DVC. As Leemac (among others) has stated, WDW has a fixed amount of capital to spend and often that money is being spent on adding timeshare units while the parks get more stale and stangant by the day; and 3.)Is anyone here really going to say they think WDW is being run in the best interests of the fans, guests, cast and even stockholders (long term)?

I always find it nice to see live entertainment in the parks, especially DHS.

Then again, I'm just supposed to make a sophomoric comment and get a can laugh from the "audience". Why isn't Byrna posting with us?

This is something I've noticed everywhere in the USA I've been (not many places since I was in Asia, you may have heard, for most of the past few months) ... from Las Vegas to Fort Lauderdale, from malls to mega resorts, holiday decorations are not what they used to be ... wonder if that's yet another sign of the depression going on (about to enter year No. 4!) <<Studios Catering Co. If you complain here too loudly they will send them away to join the Chinese acrobats because really the only 'entertainers' guests want to see are foamheads.

While I do also really enjoy the live entertainment, seeing Mulch, Sweat and Shears has always confused me. They really don't seem to have any connection (thematically, musically, stylistically, or otherwise) to the area. Yes, they're a good band, but they've just always seemed out of place to me. It would be like seeing the Dapper Dans in the Japan pavilion in Epcot. Yah, they're good, but it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I guess since it's basically on the parade route they do have a little more flexibility with their bookings, but it's still just a little weird to me.

Doom and Gloom, begone! I will proceed to hijack Spirit's thread by singing the praises of WDW world-class restroom system. P.S. Can you get me the email address of the Asian transexual? A friend of mine asked for it. Yeah. That's it.

The other Streetmosphere teams are a more organic fit to the park.
