    Such a concept.

Also, the concept of having the funds to experience such a venture seem to elude me as well...

Exactly. Even with a substandard CM, the concept and "story" of the attraction make it a very unique and fun one.

Because it's a discussion board. Complaints help make that what it is. And I rarely buy the DHS product...

If this was the same group, they were performing on the stage in front of the Hat. Dunno if they were trimming plants before the music.

I can see that the show requires skill and precision. But I think for me part of the problem is the Ballet Chase that opens the show is the most impressive example of driving in the entire show. Everything after is a little anti-climatic to me. I also think the show suffers from having a weak, hackneyed story about a spy and and bad guys trying to stop him. For me, Indy has the movie factor which is far more entertaining.

Anyone know if there's any other park that has two stunt shows?

It's too bad that WDW allows such a superheadlining/classic attraction(Great Movie Ride) slip into neglect mode. You just don't see that at TDR since they put on a fine show.
If the lousy WDW management would concentrate their efforts on maintaining high show standards in the parks instead of focusing on adulterating its image with timeshares, then we wouldn't have to put up with broken aliens, poor film quality and unenthusiastic ganster cm's.

    [Thanks for the reminder, vbdad.
I wasn't goint to reference the supreme TDR or the adulterating DVC until I read your post.]

You went into them three years ago with me, dimwit.

Now I'm wondering what else you've forgotten from our little WDW get-together.

But the overall day felt like a failure.

Lots of one hour waits till showtime without enough time to do an attraction but too much time to just stand around - and nothing interesting too kill time ala the fountains or German train at Epcot.

Too many mad dashes to get from one show to another all the way across the park. Our family was right behind the last standing room group let into Fantasmic.

Say what you will about riding around and around on a dino Dumbo clone, at least it gives you something to do.

DHS has some of our favorite attractions at WDW, but the total effect just doesn't quite have it together.

Meanwhile, EPCOT has to be done a certain way. FW, then WS, then back to FW, of you desire. You can't drift.

In the old days, before FastPass, touring EPCOT was easy! We used to just start at one of the FW pavilions, and then make our around to each of them, one at a time. And back then, you could easily spend up to an hour at most of the pavilions - like Journey into Imagination, The Land, or Wonders of Life. After that, it was a tour around World Showcase, dinner, and then Illuminations! (I miss the old days!)

Now, with Fast Pass, you have to run over to one attraction to get your Fast Pass, then go to other pavilions while you wait, then run back at FastPass time before starting all over again with another pass. Just seems so much more hectic than in the old days!

It would be fun to drift, but then again, maybe EPCOT is supposed to be toured topic by topic.

That's what I meant by easy - you could just go one pavilion at a time. Now, you have to get a FastPass at one, then head to another while you wait, then head back to the other for your FastPass time. I'd much rather be able to just go one pavilion at a time.
