    I'm ready now to go, there's nothing left to fear.
    Oh there's nothing left to fear.

    Leavin' all of this pain behind, gonna sail away;
    Lettin' all of these chains unwind, gonna steal away.

    Mama, come look quick - do I see an open door?
    The passageway is lit, an' it's time to get on board.
    What wonders we will see, what beauty to my eyes;
    So come along with me, across the rainbow sky,
    Across the rainbow sky.

    Leavin' all of this pain behind, gonna sail away;
    Lettin' all of these chains unwind, gonna fly away;
    Makin' over this troubled mind, gonna wash away;
    Leavin' all of this doubt behind, gonna sail away.

    Mama, come look quick - there's a light up in the sky;
    I see the silent ship, and it's calling you and I.

    I hope you won't pressure yourselves to make sense of his death, to feel how you're "supposed" to feel, or to be very productive over the next few days. It's enough to just get through it.

    Please let us know if we can help.

    I know it's a small condolence, but at least he's not suffering like that anymore.

    My best wishes to you and your family.

    Yes, it is a comfort. Last night before going to sleep I prayed harder than I've ever prayed in my life for God to take my brother and end his suffering.

    As sad as the situation is, my prayers were answered.

    I can't help but think of an old theme song for a TV series, along the lines of "Life goes on".

    I hope he'll be happy wherever he is. (I can't accept life just stops).

    I hope it was peaceful, I hope he had a smile on his face at the end.
