Your trip report, advice and tips are invaluable. Thank you for all of the info for packing and organizing too..I'm looking into that cool carry-on bag you recommended. I have only been on one cruise..back in the 80's on line named "Premier" ...they were known as "The Big Red Boat" line. I think for a brief time they had some Disney characters on board ( this was, of course prior to the DCL). The cruise was lovely, but I was sick the entire time except for the one day we were in Nassau. We had a private island day, but the seas were so rough that they had to cancel due to the fact that they could not use the launches to get us there. I vowed never to step foot on another ship after that trip since I was so sick. But,after reading your report, and looking at all of those wonderful photos..I'm willing to give it a try again. My DGD is now six and my DD has talked of maybe taking her on a Disney cruise when she's 8 or a little older, so maybe I'm going to re-think "never setting foot on a ship again" thing! Thanks again, so very much, for what has been one of the most enjoyable trip reports that I have ever read. I'm so glad you had a wonderful time and hope that you'll be able to go again real soon!

We were going to do our cruise on the 2011 Mexican Riviera cruise as we though it would be much easier since it leaves from LA, but after reading your report on how easy it was to travel to FL and your experience with staying at the Hyatt, we have decided to do a Western Caribbean cruise next year I do have a question though, if you don't mind? If we are doing the Mexico cruise in 2011 would it be better to book now while the prices are low in case it fills up or wait and book it during our cruise next year to take advantage of the discount and on-board credit? Thank you once again.
