I think we should all be encouraged that Disney is looking at all possibilites before they pull the trigger (or drop the axe) on something. I expect that axe to fall on MM.

Gadget's coaster feels like it belongs in Toontown to me, MM in the Brave New DCA simply does not, period. Funny thing, if they actually put it IN toontown I can go with that. If you're feeling dizzy, then stay away from Route 66. That place will give you a migraine lol.

They shouldnt spend a dime on that piece of crap.

And yeah, where you been, seriously??

I mean, weren't inventions like that popular back in the "Victorian" era and found on the piers as an additional "amusement"? They could still place it time specific to that era. Even enclose it, if not partly. I dunno, just an idea...

Even though the Goofy beach overlay might not fit within the cohesive A coaster at a seaside pier makes plenty of sense to me. To each his own I guess.

Each of the characters had their dream homes built, which resulted in the various whacky concepts there. As for Gadget, she’s the mechanic/inventor from Chip n Dale’s Rescue Rangers. She has the uncanny ability to take discarded and unrelated items, and invent nearly anything with them. So, her building a rollercoaster form said discarded and unrelated items, the theme of the coaster fits very well with the overall conceit of Toontown.

I think this has a big impact as Mission 2 is less popular, but the track has not changed. Does that not speak volumes of how important back story actually is?
