Sure the ACLU has taken the token case where they "defend" a Christian or Rush, but in most cases they are "friends of the court" and not the actual defenders and they do it as a ploy to get people to say the ACLU is fair. But when you look at the ACLU you will see that they have THOUSANDS of cases against Christians compared to a handful, if that many, for Christians. The new O'Reilly book will do a great service at getting the word out about the ACLU, the most dangerous group in America. Every ACLU attorney should be ashamed of what they do.

They have a very basic premise that the government in no way should be involved with religion of any sort. That's their belief, and that's what they work towards. And the truth is, the government really should not be involved with religion at all. I don't want government directed religion, and I doubt that anyone here would either, provided it did not concur with their personal religious ideas.
