I'm not saying Jay Rasulo doesn't like the parks, but his actions seem to show he doesn't. Others who work for him have told me as much. He's a finance guy. Not a creative guy. Not a magic guy. Not a Disney guy. He needs to move on to another company where his abilities can be put to better use.

Well, unfortunately, these days you're going to be hard pressed to actually find an executive that has love for all things Disney. It's just the reality of corporate America. Most executives are just there for the paycheck. Yeah, they try to make their mark, but it's not like they're truly passionate about the "brand". It's really too bad that it's like this...and it is at most every big company like Disney.

We have season tickets to the Dance series presented at Northrop Auditorium; we also have season tickets to the Minnesota Twins. But if we had to choose between them and WDW, dance and baseball would be gone in a minute!

People weren't falling all over themselves laughing like they might in a comedy club, but then again, they weren't being served drinks. I thought the build-out, quality of the graphics (both in terms of resolution and how well the animation matched what the voice actors were saying) was quite good. Personally, I think they did a really good job overall, and it's nice to see them trying different attraction concepts and especially the "living character" concept. Since I didn't see it a few weeks ago when the soft openings started, I have no idea how much it's been improved. It must have been much worse than it is now for it to get so many negative reviews here. I would be interested to see what some of those that panned it early on have to say once they have a chance to experience the current version.
