    Exactly. Just like The Atari's cover of "Boys of Summer" make that version way cool. The Rascal Flat's band's version of "Hotel California" was amp'd up just enough to make it fresh but still true to the original, IMHO.

    THANK YOU for that! I was thinking the same thing when I saw that performance.

    All these manufactured stars get put up there with people who rose because they have talent.

    It's nice to see a case in which it's totally clear, a few years later, to see who depends on staging and editing and studio effects for appeal and who can rely on raw vocal talent to carry her.
