I don't think I will be watching this show either. My husband HATES reality TV, so like mele said, he might leave me if I watched, lol.

On the one hand, I'm happy fro whoever wins the role, BUT I think it royally SUCKS taht they're doing this in a way that will pretty much ensure no member of Equity (the actor's union) will audition. I'd much rather see a Broadway revival of Greaxse with lead actors who have already provem themselves to be professionals. As you can tell, I don't plan to watch this. p.s. I knew Doobie rocked! I LOVE GREASE!!! (But, truth be told, I prefer Xanadu, I think.)

Honestly, Chicago never looked more like a poor-man's NYC than in those scant twenty minutes. Obviously it's bound to get better once they get to NY, but yikes! There wasn't a Broadway caliber performer in the whole episode.

They need to have them sing songs from musicals though to really show if they can "act" a song. Sure, "Grease" has a lot of "pop" sounds, but it is still a Broadway musical. And what's with the week off? Next week will re-run the "Grease Academy" episode and this week's episode. Next new episode will be 2/11.
