What about when Richard Hatch won the very first Survivor contest? There's one to savor with your grandkids, right? Wow, wouldn't that be a simply abysmal ride? Nonetheless, it's a reflection of where entertainment has gone (Yeah, straight down the you-know-where!).

I think the Little Mermaid will probably end up being a D-Ticket and then add the meet and greets around it. It seems that Disney has it backwards. Meanwhile...The Great Movie Ride still needs a rehab.

They've always been part of the experience and are quite popular. Even tired old crap like the ancient Beauty and the Beast still attracts crowds. And REAL entertainment ... non-foamhead ... stuff like the old Diamond Horseshoe Reviews used to pack people in. Again, what's your point? <<They go to see the attractions, the big shows like the fireworks and stuff like Fantasmic.>> Sure. But they go for the whole package and stage show always have been part of it. Just like dining and shopping and meeting Mickey (for some). <<Standard stage shows few, except hardcore fanbois, make a trip to see at a theme park. Want to see a stage show? Take in a play or a musical in your town. Want something special? Go to Disney.>> Still trying to get your point ... I guess you just don't like Disney Entertainment and the shows it puts on?

Bulldoze it and start again this time with something more like Soaring. Mumpets is absolutely stale. There is very little of interest in the back of the park. And could Disney please put some sort of transportation ( a raised trolley perhaps ) to help with the walk from the back of the park to the front of the park. The MK has the train. EPCOT has the boats. Can DHS please have something, anything. Mary Poppins ballons perhaps?

And he made it a hallmark of his parks to have modes of transportation to keep crowds from forming and moving. His first park Disneyland had unique "lands" built around a central hub with various modes of transportation, fire truck, horse drawn trolley going up and down Main Street. Along with that Walt devised a track with steam trains circling his park with various "stations" which guests could exit the train in the various lands. He also put in his park a gondola lift attraction called skyway which transported riders from Fantacyland to Tomorrowland. This was all topped off of course by a monorail system with initially transported guests between Disneyland and the Disney Hotel. Flash forward to DHS which has absolutely none of the above. No skyway, no trolleys, no train, no monorail, no boats. Zip! Would it be asking too much if Disney could put something, anything in that park to help with the flow or visitors from the back of the park to the front of the park.
