We just got APs, so we've been planning our next couple visits. We've reserved a hotel for the weekend before Halloween. Never seen the parks decorated for Halloween and never done the trick-or-treat. Thanks for the tip, gottaludavillians.

Rides were for the most part walk on. And on TOT we were the only ones in the ride (we had requested this and since it was slow it was granted) - So the picture we bought was on just us!

We did the karaoke singing part in the building over and over because no one was waiting. The only thing we found busy was NOS at night because of HMH and Fantasmic.

We also avoid the character pictures now, although we saw Hates and would loved to have had a picture with him The villans seemed to be in the rotunda of the Golden Dreams attraction, right? Nice to keep them a bit tucked back in case they scare some kiddies. Last year we did make the mistake of heading into Hollywood as did our son and daughter in law. We found it "mobbed." We met up and headed towards Grizzly and the candy lines were almost a walk up and we hit several Almost walked on the attractions and the games had a line of about 5 people. We made it back to Hollywood later in the evening and the candy lines still seemed to be immense. We hit TOT and Monsters with no problem. I guess my point is that it's just like anything else in DLR, if the line is too long, turn around and there is something else just as fun that doesn't have such a long line I just noticed a Clark Bar in my candy pile picture. I had never had one before. Pretty much a Baby Ruth

They were also giving candy away inside the animation building. << turn around and there is something else just as fun>> Yes! We also went Grizzly we no lines. If you don't have little kids, the later the better. We have teens, so we closed the place.

We got gobs of candy, way more than any of us needed. They had entertainment in different areas of the park. My only criticism was the lack of places to eat. We ended up at the Pacific Wharf but it was pretty crowded. I never went with the expectation to do ride mania it was to enjoy the Halloween festivities. We had a lot of fun just people watching and looking at all the creative costumes.
