Oops, i thought it had been mentioned. well, there is no plans on changing the name. The new theming for the entrance and court area will make the letters look out of place. There are also plans to possibly expand the entrance of the park to where the letters are. The removal would most likely be one of the last things to happen while the entrance is being rethemed. The letters have become one of the most photgraphed areas of the resort but they were also part of a package that was designed for the parks original entrance.

There wasn't too much that was very creative when DCA opened, but the letters stand out in my mind as being really unique. Also, they make it really fun and easy to decorate for the different holidays, and letting people know what's going on inside. I know that they will probably have to go, but they are actually the one thing about the Sun Plaza (assuming they count as part of it) that I actually like. (And I don't just like them, I think they're one of the best things Disney has done in a while).
