Sure, it starts off by insulting you, but the ending brings it all into prospective. And the new ending is just random, and you can see the walls move and the ceiling raise. On top of all that, you can still see them after they move, and the room looks much much smaller. With all the video screens and black walls, it looked huge, and the unload area fit in much better than coming from a yellow room. And the constillation room was great too. I know I'm in the vast minority, but the 2nd verison was superior to the current version.

I still love the park, but there's no doubt it's been made smaller by the loss of the long, AA-filled attractions and the addition of what I call the thrill-ride wannabes (like Test Track and Mission Space). man what an amazing place EPCOT Center was in the 1980s! But by the time it gets to the eye chart scene and the special effect is nothing more than a movie clip of Figment bouncing around on the chart, I just completely lose interest. The next year we went to EPCOT Center, we bought the Pictorial Souvenier book. There was by brother and his girlfriend in a picture taken by that photographer! I also remember that day spending three hours in Journey, because I loved it. I even got a kick out of the preview show to Magic Journeys. Future World took me ~all day~. And that's BEFORE Horizons or the Living Seas existed. I look at those old pictures every once in a while. Man I had some bushy hair back then.
